Wood’s world, separating Todd from his father and as corruption runs rife and the threat of revolution looms. You’re thrust into this turmoil as the world is built around you, learning more about the Skuas and the kingdom as we meet new characters. ‘The Shattered Oath’ is a gripping first instalment of a trilogy that has a lot of scope for expansion. I’m intrigued to see what happens in the rest of the trilogy.
